Team Outlook:
The Colts Neck Cougar Wrestling team is entering Group IV & "A North"
with an optimistic attitude, as it returns 12 Varsity starters from last
year's sectional qualifying team. Key Returners that will lead the
Cougars this season are Niko Brown (Sr.), Chris Panek (Sr.), Zac Meyer
(Sr.), Jimmy Somma (Jr.), Jarrod Burdge (Jr.), Chris Fraley (Jr.),&
Devrin Vivino (Sr.).
Along with a veteran core of wrestlers, there are a group of
newcomers that are looking to make an impact in the Varsity lineup right
away, filling holes from last year. This group includes Percival Roque
(Fr.), Ryan Wold (So.), Vin Vivolo (Jr.), Matt Papp (Fr.), & Frank Conte
(Sr.). Overall, the Cougars are hoping to be competitive both in their
division and make a bid for the Shore Conference Tournament. |
