Two decisions and a pin in the final three bouts of the match helped put Christian Brothers Academy's wrestling team into the NJSIAA Non-Public South A final with a 37-28 win over visiting St. Augustine in a semifinal on Tuesday night.

With the Colts (16-3) trailing 28-25, senior Dave Chirichello bumped up and picked up a 14-7 decision at 145 to swing the momentum back in their favor. Junior Chris Finley followed with a pin at 152 and then senior Anthony DeLeo pinned at 160 to seal the victory over the Hermits (14-3), who knocked off Bishop Ahr in the quarterfinals.

The Colts, who are ranked No. 15 in the Gannett New Jersey Top 20, will now travel south to face Camden Catholic, which is ranked No. 2 in the Top 20, in the Non-Public South A championship on Thursday.

OCEAN 48, NORTHERN BURLINGTON 18:

The Spartans (16-7), ranked No. 12 in the Gannett Top 20, won five of the final six bouts to win going away in a Central Jersey Group III semifinal against the Greyhounds (14-5).

The Spartans, who will host Wall in the CJ III final on Thursday, jumped out to a 17-0 lead after the first three bouts following a pin by junior Joe Falco at 152. The Greyhounds advanced to the semifinals with a win over Freehold.

HOWELL 63, STEINERT 7:

The Rebels (20-1), who are ranked No. 11 in the Gannett New Jersey Top 20, rolled past the Spartans (11-3) by winning the first eight bouts to breeze into the Central Jersey Group IV final.

Howell will travel to Jackson, the top-ranked team in the state, for the CJ IV final on Thursday. Steinert advanced to the semifinals without having to wrestle a quarterfinal match because Brick Memorial, which is ranked No. 13 in the Gannett Top 20, withdrew from the tournament because of an impetigo outbreak.

ROSELLE PARK 57, KEANSBURG 15:

The Titans (14-9) advanced to a Central Jersey Group I semifinal by knocking off Shore, 41-28, but the Panthers won the final six bouts in the semifinals to advance.

Keansburg junior Jon Pecyna recorded a technical fall at 135 with two bouts remaining to wrap up the Titans win over the Blue Devils in the quarterfinals.

BORDENTOWN 39, PT. BEACH 34:

Senior Matt Rega recorded a pin at 125 to improve to 22-2, but it was not enough as the Scotties jumped out to a 39-13 lead with four bouts remaining and downed the Garnet Gulls (10-6) in a Central Jersey Group I quarterfinal.

HADDONFIELD 40, MANCHESTER 24:

Tony Gomes registered a pin at heavyweight to bring the Hawks (15-8) within 34-21, but they fell in a South Jersey Group II quarterfinal at Collingswood.

Haddonfield led 22-0 after the first four bouts, but Manchester never got closer than 13 points after Gomes' victory.

ABSEGAMI 35, TR EAST 30:

Junior Adam Henig scored an 11-2 major decision over Ryan Campbell at heavyweight to start a five-bout winning streak to end the match for the Raiders (12-10), but it was not enough to overcome the host Braves (12-7) in a South Jersey Group IV semifinal.

The Raiders downed Cherry Hill East, 35-22, in the quarterfinals as Henig decisioned Ben Shore 5-2 on his way to improving to 30-2.

NOTRE DAME 46, SJ VIANNEY 21:

Lenny Sasso (145 pounds) had the lone pin for the Lancers (10-3), who fell to the Irish (14-5) in a Non-Public South A semifinal. Jeff Vetter and Ben Grant finished off the match with victories for the Irish.
