JACKSON 51, WALL 11:

The Knights won the first two bouts and then saw why the Jaguars are No. 1 in the Asbury Park Press rankings as they raced off to win 10 straight bouts against the No. 9 team in the poll.

Matt Bradley defeated Wall's Blaine Woszczak, 7-2 in their bout at 130. The Jaguars had three pins. With victories against Old Bridge and St. John Vianney, they improved to 17-1.

TR NORTH 46, PINELANDS 29:

Mike Castro's major decision at 160 opened the margin and Brian and Dave Newman followed with pins to give the Mariners their only win in a quad that also included CBA and Raritan.

The two losses for the Mariners probably mean they will not compete in the Shore Conference Tournament.

"We would be such a low seed that it would mean wrestling against Southern, Jackson or Howell in the first round," coach Chris Madigan said. "I'd rather concentrate on qualifying for the state tournament."

MANCHESTER 38, MANALAPAN 25:

The Hawks won three matches in the quad meet to improve to 11-5, giving them a chance at a berth in the Shore Conference Tournament.

The Hawks won five of the final six bouts to overcome an early deficit, including a pin by heavyweight Nick Ott, who was 2-0 on the day. The Hawks blanked Lakewood, 75-0 and beat Monmouth Regional, 39-29. Manalapan had a 42-24 victory against Monmouth. Monmouth's Anthony Bongarzone had three wins on the day to remain undefeated.

KEANSBURG 57, HOLMDEL 13:

The Class B Central champs had little difficulty in winning three matches at a quad meet that also included Spotswood and South River. Sean Yeneic had victories in all three of his bouts to improve to 18-1.
