Jersey Shore Middle School : Team Long Branch

The Long Branch Middle School wrestling team is enjoying one of its finest seasons in the school's history. The Green Wave is seeking their fourth straight Monmouth County Middle School League Division
Championship. At this point in the season, LBMS is a perfect 13-0. Early season out of conference matches with Wall, Pt. Boro, Perth Amboy, and Freehold Middle school prepared the Green Wave wrestlers for the annual "Brawl at the Beach" winter break tournament. There, LBMS placed third out of seventeen teams. Their 63 team points were only three points behind runner-up Getts Middle School (Jackson).

The Green Wave have already wrestled every team in their division once, with their toughest battle coming against Matawan Middle School. As they begin the second half of their division matches, the Green Wave will be gearing up for the end of the year Division Tournament. There they hope to capture the team title for the third straight year.
