TOURNAMENT INFORMATION

When: SATURDAY August 9th and SUNDAY 10th 2008

Where: Long Branch High School, Long Branch, NJ

48 teams/12 states /15 weight classes

Entry Fee: $500.00 per team any # of wrestlers. Minimum of 5 matches per team.

This JSN has grown from a field of 12 teams in 4 States in 2004 to 42 teams in 12 states in 2007. Our 2008 Field target is 48 teams. Ideally we want a 18 NJ Shore Conference teams, 18 NJ non-shore conference teams and 18 Out of State teams. We will match our talent level of competition to any other tournament in the Nation.  This tournament is a golden opportunity to get your wrestlers national level competition and exposure, as many collegiate coaches (D1 and D3) attend and scout potential recruits. The tournament has seen teams from Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Jersey, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and Various Club Teams in the Northeast USA.
School is located just 2 blocks from the beach and Pier Village (www.piervillage.com).

The Winner of the Championship Bracket will be invited back free of charge in 2009.

*Team trophy and individual medals to the Winner.
*Individual medals to Runner-Up and individual medals to 3rd and 4th Place.
*Free T-shirts to Top 4 Teams each Bracket.
*Quickest Pin, Most Pins based on total tournament results.
*Lower weight MOW and Upper Weight MOW picked from the finals of each bracket.
*Also any wrestler who goes undefeated will get an award.
*Extra T-shirts will be sold for cost ($8) to the wrestlers and Public.
*2 Golf Type Coaches Shirts to each Team
